On Lake Fork’s north side, Northshore RV Park provides access to some of the best fishing in the region. It is also a great place for bird watching and duck hunting. The RV park covers about 20 acres of prime land with more than 1000 feet of water frontage.
Easily accessible, the park is five miles north of Emory, Texas, located conveniently off Highway 19.For convenience of visitors, Northshore Landing has 20 RV sites, a boat access ramp, boat storage units and a guesthouse that sleeps up to six people.
Located in Rains County, which is Texas’ eagle capital, bird watchers can enjoy viewing all kinds of birds that make their home in the area, including eagles. Fishermen may be surprised to learn Lake Fork offers some of the best crappie, catfish and bass fishing in the entire country. A well-stocked pond is also available to campers who would rather fish there. The area is known for its winter duck hunting.
The RV park is just a short drive from Canton First Monday, which is one of the largest outdoor markets around. Several wineries are scattered throughout East Texas and are easily accessible from the campground.
